Although I have not officially attended Twilight Covening and the Gryphon or Wyvern clans, I have spent the past 14 years of my life under the tutelage  of Cerillian in the ways of Dark Eros.  I have learned so much about my personal limits, my magical ability and my interest in merging magic and masochism.  It has been amazing the amount of baggage I have been able to let go of doing this work. It has also given me a tremendous insight into my powers ass an empathi and shown my ways to use my natural inclination as a submissive to work with Dominants on their issues and magical needs.  I believe Cerillian’s work to be of the utmost importance to the magical community in combining the natural skills of S & M with the magical world and allowing us to take a journey both internally and externally.  I am proud to have spent 14 years as protege and lover to a man who possesses unlimited power and magic.  I am honored to be allowed to practice Dark Eros.  I am even more deeply in love with this man…this man, who has opened the magical community to a new practice and helped to begin the process of mainstreaming our lives within the Pagan community.  With all my love, I support and supplicate my self to Dark Eros and my husband and partner in life and magic.

Its been over a decade since I took my first SM 101 class with Cerillian. I was at a spiritual retreat and was curious of the very nature of the titled class offered. Had it not been for his non-condescending humor and in-depth and personal knowledge, I am not sure I would have gone back for the second class. Kink, sex and spirituality are all loaded subjects in and of themselves. Cerillian was and continues to be able to present them all in a cohesive whole that makes sense for me.

From that very first class, Cerillian made it a safe and respectful space to explore some scary and dark places within myself. Being a single woman at the time, with body issues (who doesn’t?), these aspects of safety and respect were and continue to be keystones to his teaching style. He did not sanitize or de-scarify the very real nature of this work or spiritual path. Dark Eros is not a path for everyone because of the very nature of working with psyches, inner beasts and personal shadows. Cerillian knows this path well. For those who choose to walk it, it is wise to have a guide who is intergitous and knowledgeable. It doesn’t hurt, that he has a kind sense of humor either.

Now over a decade later, I continue to learn from and now work with Cerillian within the context of the Dark Eros path. I thank my Higher Power that I stumbled into that first class so long ago. And cringe at the way my spiritual progress could have gone had I met some other teacher or guide less intergritous or knowledgeable.

Cerillian’s Dark Eros workshops have been instrumental in promoting the practice of conscious, responsible, spiritually centered BDSM.

For those who are new to BDSM (as well as those who have been around the block a few times), Cerillian is a wonderful teacher of both basic and advanced scening skills, techniques, hygiene, negotiation, care and aftercare.  He is impeccable in his practice and adamant in his emphasis on personal responsibility for all participants.

There are many workshops and would-be teachers in Kinky World; what sets Cerillian and his Dark Eros workshops apart from others is his unique focus on the use of BDSM tools and techniques as a healing modality.  Dark Eros work is not just advanced scene work.  It is a method of intentionally harnessing the energetic exchange inherent in the power exchange as means for deep healing and emotional and spiritual evolution.  Nothing less.

Cerillian has developed his Dark Eros philosophy & techniques over many years and is highly skilled both as practitioner and teacher.  His guidance and insight have had a powerful, undeniable impact upon my life journey.  Those who feel called to combine the paths of consciousness and D/s power exchange will certainly benefit from this work.
